Dr. Christopher Gough is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon known for his calm demeanor, attention to detail, and patient-focused approach to care. Originally from South Africa, Dr. Gough moved to New Smyrna Beach, Florida, at the age of 17 and has enjoyed the coastal lifestyle ever since.

Dr. Gough earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Central Florida before receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. Following dental school, he pursued specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery through the United States Navy, where he completed a comprehensive full-scope residency with advanced training in surgical care and complex case management.

Patients appreciate Dr. Gough for his thoughtful approach and ability to make them feel comfortable and informed throughout treatment. He takes pride in providing personalized care tailored to each patient’s individual needs while creating a positive surgical experience from consultation through recovery.

Outside of the office, Dr. Gough enjoys spending time outdoors and can often be found fishing.
